GLOBALGAP wants to incorporate the needs of smallholders into the application and further development of the standard. With the support of DFID and GTZ the Africa Observer project was started in 2007. Therefore smallholders have more opportunities to give systematic feedback.

SMALLHOLDER TASKFORCE ESTABLISHED
25. February 2008 The Smallholder Task Force starts its call for proposals to improve certification for smallholders. The team will call for innovative proposals from stakeholders world-wide and evaluate them.
